Maximum Benefit Pet Insurance?

With this type of cover you can claim up to your chosen vet fee limit for unexpected accidents and illnesses.

There is no time limit on how long you can claim for the condition, you can continue to claim until the maximum amount is reached. Once you have reached the vet fee limit for that particular condition, it will no longer be covered.

Third party liability

Our policies include up to €250,000 in cover should your dog cause injury to another person or their pet, or damage to their property

Dental cover

Petinsurance.ie policies include cover for dental accidents and illnesses as standard, up to your selected vet fee limit

Behavioural treatment

If a Vet recommends professional help with your pet's mental or emotional wellbeing, we'll cover this up to your chosen vet fee limit.

Complementary therapy

Access to a range of treatments and therapies to aid your pet's recovery. We'll cover up to your chosen vet fee limit when a vet recommends treatments such as hydrotherapy, acupuncture and more.

Emergency boarding

When an emergency arises, you get up to €1,500 towards kennel, cattery or pet minding costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no upper age limit for insuring your pet with us. We can insure puppies and kittens from eight weeks of age.
We don’t provide cover for any pre-existing conditions. You’re unable to claim for any illnesses that first occurred or showed symptoms within the first 14 days, or any accidents or injuries which occurred within the first 2 days of the cover start date of your policy.
Our Pet Insurance is designed to help with unexpected vet expenses, such as for accidents or illnesses. It does not cover routine or preventative treatments such as vaccinations, neutering, or flea, tick and worming treatments, for example. Please remember that to keep your cover valid your pet must have a yearly health check - up with a vet, including dental check. For more information. please read your policy wording document.
